Altru Jewelry Q3 2026 Donation Report

Altru Jewelry Q3 2026 Donation Report

$1,224.79 Donated to ALS Research and Support

By Selena Castro | October 8th, 2026

Okay, so Q3 numbers are IN, and honestly? I'm kinda blown away. 🙈

Between July and September, Altru donated $1,224.79 to ALS nonprofits. Last quarter it was $810, so that's over $400 more than Q2. That's YOUR doing. Every necklace, every pair of earrings, every little trinket tray you picked up this summer helped get us here.

If you're new here, hey 👋 I'm Selena. I lost my dad to ALS in 2019, and Altru is how I keep showing up for him. Every quarter I share where the money goes, because "we give back" doesn't mean much without the receipts.

Where it came from

$1,030 came from the ALS Necklace Collection. Every necklace in that collection is made with someone affected by ALS, and each one sold sends $5 to the nonprofit they picked. You bought 206 of them this quarter. TWO HUNDRED AND SIX.

The Katie's Cure Lighthouse Necklace was the best seller of the summer, by a LOT. Y'all love a lighthouse and I'm not mad about it.

$194.79 came from 15% of sales on everything else in the shop. That part goes to ALS TDI, my main research org.

Where it went

This quarter's donations are going to 10 organizations. Most of them were picked by the ALS warriors and families behind each necklace, which is one of my favorite parts of this whole thing. They're all fighting ALS from a different angle, and it ALL matters.

  • Adaptive Impact works to improve quality of life and independence for people living with disabilities, including ALS.

  • ALS Network supports people with ALS through care, research and advocacy.

  • ALS TDI (the ALS Therapy Development Institute) is a research lab focused only on finding treatments and a cure for ALS.

  • Bridging Voice helps people living with ALS keep communicating as their speech changes.

  • Her ALS Story was founded by Leah Stavenhagen to amplify the voices of women living with ALS.

  • Hope Loves Company supports kids and young adults who have, or had, a loved one with ALS.

  • I Am ALS is a patient-led movement co-founded by Brian Wallach and Sandra Abrevaya.

  • Live Like Lou Foundation is named for Lou Gehrig. They support ALS families and fund early-career ALS scientists.

  • Target ALS funds ALS research.

  • Team Gleason gets technology, equipment and services into the hands of people living with ALS.

Thank you, seriously

If you bought something from Altru between July and September, thank you. This money is yours as much as it's mine.

ALS still doesn't have a cure. But the research is moving, and these orgs are a big part of why. I'll keep showing you the receipts every quarter. ❤️
